2018 Topps Chrome Variation Guide

Topps Chrome is as hot as ever in 2018. This set features 25 photo variations. Each base variation is actually a refractor so it should be easy to spot. The images are following the same theme as the Topps flagship sets, players in pre-game/playful routines. Some of the variations are kind of stale and boring, but there are a few that are really feel like a good image variation (i.e. trout signing from the dugout). These variations just add to the many things that collectors are looking for when cracking open Topps Chrome this season. These variations are super short printed (SSP) making them tougher to get than other sets. It's not a bad thing if variations are tougher to get. All of these variations are featured with the low numbered Green (/99), Orange (/25), and Red Refractors (/5), plus a Superfractor (1/1). Also, I will give details on special Rookie Variations that being put only in WalMart factory sets of Topps.
What to Look For?
As we have already been looking for the pre-game routines images from the two flagship Topps sets this year, we can also look for the refractor finish for the variations. It should make these easier to find. But like the other Topps sets, the codes on the back are there to help identify if needed. Here are the codes:

2018 Topps Chrome Walmart Factory Set Rookie Variation Checklist
Topps has added some extra Chrome Rookie Variations to their Walmart exclusive factory sets. There are 5 key rookies that have one of these variations that can only be found in these factory sets. The images DO NOT follow the same theme as the others, these are normal image variations of the player in action. There is one variation per set.
